Lee had a week loaded with golf and golf tours. He certainly displayed improvement with four cuts out of eight events in total on the PGA Tour. He managed to land at the 29th and 16th in the beginning event. At the LIV, he was able to grab the fourth place even though he was placed at the 9th position on the third event of the circuits leaderboards. Back in July, he only finished at 34th at the Open Championship while he shot a seven-under 65 at the BMW PGA final.
WESTWOOD’S BRIEF ENCOUNTER WITH THE MEDIA
When asked about the love and acceptance at the games, Lee lit up saying,”You know, the fans here are always nice, but this week, it’s been really special.” He further said that everyone was in a sad place at the queen’s unfortunate demise but felt thankful that the fans turned up to enjoy golf as did Lee himself. He looked enthusiastic about the game- “It’s a fun game, isn’t it. Show some birdies.”
Westwood mentions how the media has been a great supporter for abridging golf and fans – “The media is expanding it and helping as much as it can. I think the general public is just out there. Wants to go and watch good golf, no matter where it’s played or who’s playing.”
We are quite aware that he has a trial due in February. On a question regarding the case and his opinions on the legal matter, Westwood shyed away from any speculations and left the matter entirely to the lawyers. “Do I look like a lawyer?” Westwood said.

Westwood is set to appear with his golf stick in the four final events at the LIV Golf. However, he is unsure what follows the final event for the next year.
