“Trying to cut the F**KING legs out from PGA Tour”- Robert Garrigus catastrophizes stern advice towards LIV Golf critic

The PGA Golf pro, Robert Garrigus, recently appeared for the Firepit Collective’s Ryan French on the Grind Podcast with lots to say and spoke openly about his concerns related to media requests that emerged for no obvious reasons. He also seemed perplexed about the reasons behind the fuss at the same time.

The PGA vs LIV is a fight of its own and the turmoil is forever on. Another challenge that the PGA Tour pro seems to have given in is the LIV Golf critic Billy Horschel‘s outspoken demeanor. A whole bunch of incidents has unfolded, with Robert Garrigus being in conversations with LIV and PGA for a single shot, followed by a media request, its public emergence, and the name-calling for Billy Horschel.

But, Robert Garrigus, 44, who has one PGA Tour victory to his name, really didn’t hold back and the highlight is still the awful lot he had, to say about Billy. He also spoke about what he expected from Greg Norman for his media fallout.

First things first, Robert Garrigus can’t stand Billy Horschel

Robert Garrigus said on the Grind, “Because, to be quite honest, there’s only really a couple of players out here that have really taken a stance that they actually care [like] the d******** Billy Horschel, he won’t shut the f*** up and I can’t stand it.” He then didn’t stop at it but also added, “Even Rory [McIlroy] and [Jon] Rahm have taken a step back because getting that this is not a fight you can win.”

It seemed like he was irritated with the dual personalities who appeared at the LIV, mentioning, “You can bow your chest out as much as you want but once you get punched it doesn’t matter.

You’re going to get knocked out regardless. And that’s one of the things that I can’t stand when guys get on TV and interviews saying all of this s*** about the LIV guys but when they are on the driving range they ain’t gonna say s*** to them.”

He also answered some very tumultuous questions that are fired at each other by LIV vs PGA fans and making it into a propaganda. He said, “This is our deal and they are making it about them. Not us. And it’s really frustrating because there is no reason that the LIV guys shouldn’t be getting that publicity. There is no reason that the DP World Tour guys who have played on LIV shouldn’t be getting that publicity.” He meant that it isn’t a sin to love both.

Robert Garrigus still had a few complaints from Greg Norman and LIV. He wanted to have a piece of the pie from LIV’s pockets when he was hit by a media fallout storm. The player nearly raised $25 million dollar by a single shot at the curtain on the Centurion Club fields, just outside London.

He also went on to say that Monahan was a “nice guy” but he is not a “wartime president. ” His prediction is Monahan will leave the PGA within a year. We all love some insights from our golfers and Robert Garrigus and the Grind return combination definitely is the one to look at.
