After Brooks Koepka kept on pressuring and trolling his league to release the schedule for the 2024 LIV season, his wish seems to have been fulfilled. The LIV Golf on Wednesday released their schedule for the upcoming season.

This time the 54-hole circuit will feature twelve regular-season events in eight different countries. The final two events, which will make it a total of 14 events for this year, will not feature a single finale in Saudi Arabia. The previous two editions have had at least one final event take place in the Middle East country.

Before the release of the schedule, LIV CEO Greg Norman had already announced the return to Adelaide. The Australian event turned out to be one of the best for LIV Golf and Norman was happy to see the circuit host another event in his home country.

All of this also comes at a time when dark clouds are looming over their future. The ongoing talks regarding the PGA Tour and Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudia Arabia have cast a massive doubt regarding the league’s and Norman’s future.

LIV Golf moves away from Trump courses in 2024

For the second year running, LIV Golf will kick off at the El Cameleon course in Mayakoba, Mexico. After this, the league will host a new event in Las Vegas in February. One major development sees the league move away from Trump courses in 2024.

The golf courses owned by former US President Donald Trump hosted a total of three events last season. Prior to this, the courses owned by the former leader also played host to events in 2021.

Three LIV events will also compete with the signature events of the PGA Tour. The Las Vegas event takes place during the Super Bowl event of the National Football League (NFL). Check out the full list of events from the tweet shared by LIV Golf on X:

Speaking on the plans for the future, CEO Greg Norman said LIV Golf is the golf fans deserve to see. According to news.com.au, Norman stated:

LIV Golf is the truly global golf league that the sport and its fans deserve... Launching a new league is a massive undertaking, and we’re full steam ahead building off our incredibly successful first full season in 2023.

Several changes are also expected to take place before the start of the season. The major one of them is the transfer of players through a transfer window. Another topic that has been trending regarding them is whether Jon Rahm would join them or not. It would be interesting to witness how the various changes and spicy developments regarding player movement take place.
