As the BMW Championship heads into the third round, the pressure is starting to increase on players. As in the case of most moving days in golf, the scenario of winners and losers started to come up in the minds of fans. While there are no regular cuts in the FedEx Cup playoffs events, the number of players gets reduced following the conclusion of the events.

After the tournament started with the top seventy players, only the top fifty reached this second leg. Following the end of this event, the number will be down to the top thirty, as golfers participate in the final Tour championship event. There are some players who need a better performance on the moving day to still stand a chance of a comeback in the final round.

One of the people on this list is Jon Rahm. The reigning Masters champion was spotted struggling at the greens on Thursday. He is right now tied for 35th spot in the rankings. If he finishes the tournament in this ranking, he will miss out on the third and final leg of the FedEx Cup.

However, he faced a similar situation at the Open Championship as well. After having a tough time in the first two rounds, he fired a historic round score of 63 at the Hoylake. So the fans are still relaxed about the situation regarding him. This event is now shaping be to another intense tournament as players fight with everything they have got to get their hands on the cup.
