The 2022 PGA Championship is just around the corner, and amidst the return of Tiger Woods, golf’s very best will go head-to-head at the Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The event will take place between 19th to 22nd May and has a par 70, totalling to 7,556 yards. But how much is the PGA Championship Prize money?

The winner of the PGA Championship is expected to make as much as $2.16million in the 2022 season. The runner-up will be awarded $1.29 million, while third place is expected to win $816,000. The prize money will then range all the way through to 70th place, who will be awarded $19,600. All in, the total purse is said to be as much as $15m.
Scottie Scheffler is a hot favourite to win the 2022 PGA Championship, but Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth cannot be counted out either.
