NBA superstar Stephen Curry inaugurates Underrated Golf to give an opportunity to students of the game

The first thing that comes to one’s mind while mentioning Stephen Curry is NBA. However, his love for golf is known to all. The American professional basketball player helped launch the Underrated Golf earlier this week.
Stephen Curry’s love for golf isn’t just a hobby, though. We have seen the NBA star participating in any number of charity tournaments when he takes a break from basketball. Not to forget, he also started Workday Charity Classic golfing event a few years back to raise money for his “Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation.”
The main purpose of this organization is to provide more representation, equity, access, and opportunity to all students who love golf.
The Golden State Warriors superstar said in a video which was released by the PGA Tour on their Twitter handle said that golf can be a community experience where everyone wants to play with their friends.

Underrated Golf to focus on the grassroots level- inaugurated by Stephen Curry
Underrated Golf is planning to have a number of various events across the US in which their main aim will be to scout for young talent who have the potential to become superstars in the future.
After making a mark in these events, the top 24 young girls and boys will get an opportunity to feature in the Curry Cup. It will be the tour’s season-ending championship event.
Talking about Underrated Golf earlier this year Curry had already mentioned what he expects from this organization and what is the actual thought process behind the same.
“I created UNDERRATED back in 2019 with the goal of celebrating the underdog,” said Stephen Curry. “UNDERRATED is a mindset, a motivation, a calling, a compliment.”
“With this inspiration, I am excited to expand the brand into UNDERRATED Golf, which happens to be one of the most inaccessible sports for underrepresented individuals across the globe. It will provide equity, access, and opportunity, recognizing the instrumental role the sport plays as one of the greatest vehicles and connectors for life successes,” concluded Curry.
