Watch: “He knows how to lose” Sungjae Im ‘Gangnam Style’ at Presidents Cup after-party breaks the internet
Sungjae Im
Sungjae Im grabbed the headlines for one of those moments when a video of him doing a ‘Gangnam Style’ dance went off the hook on social media. Fans were loving his moves at the after-party of the Presidents Cup where players of both teams regrouped and had a lovely time.
The Presidents Cup 2022 concluded with the US team emerging victorious for the ninth time in a row. The Quail Hollow Club in North Carolina had certain moments which had fans laughing and enjoying the prestigious tournament. The event was robbed of some sheen due to some big names being suspended by the PGA, following their shift to LIV Golf.

Sungjae Im wins hearts on and off the field
Sungjae Im‘s video had fans in awe of him as soon as the video started doing the rounds. Trevor Immelman, the International team skipper commented “HAHA”. One of the U.S.A’s fav. Justin Thomas wrote – “You’re a legend!” and Sam Burns held no reservations when he declared “You’re my favorite golfer Sungjae.”
The United States captained by Davis Love III posted a convincing win over the International team defeating them 17.5-12.5. And as was the case with them when they decimated Europe at the last Ryder Cup, the team was in no mood to keep it low.
They were having a lot of fun – cigars and beers all out as International team players also joined later on strengthening sportsman spirit. “Trevor Immelman and his team played some great golf and although they didn’t win the cup they definitely won the after party as shown here by Sungjae Im” – Finau’s caption on his IG post of Sugjae dancing whole-heartedly.
Even on the field, Sungjae Im had a good outing as he grabbed 2.5 points out of 5, giving the International Team fire-power to pave a comeback. As Finau’s caption says – “see you guys in Montreal”, Im would be hoping for a more dominant performance by his teammates to change the final result that time around.
