“I won’t be playing full schedule ever again”: Tiger Woods arrives at J.P. McManus Pro-Am ahead of 2022 British Open
Tiger Woods
Tiger Woods has not played a complete tournament since he was forced to withdraw from the PGA Championship in May. The car crash last year has limited his abilities, and are certainly having an impact on the golfer’s endurance, especially in terms of pain. However, the 46-year-old is now all set to play the J.P. McManus Pro-Am alongside 9 of the top 10 players in the world rankings.
The site for the 2027 Ryder Cup is also now the place where Woods will make his appearance under the public spotlight. Woods will aim to finish the 36-hole exhibition in preparation for his appearance at the 150th British Open at the Old Course at St. Andrews in the upcoming week.

Woods has only played twice in 2022, after his injuries have left him in quite a bit of pain. He has made the cut at the Masters and the PGA Championship, before forgoing the US Open last month. “I won’t be playing a full schedule ever again,” Woods said according to CBS Sports.
“It’ll be just the big events. I don’t know if I’ll be able to play [the PGA Championship] at Southern Hills or not, but I am looking forward to St. Andrews. That is something that is near and dear to my heart. You know, I’ve won two Opens there, it’s the home of golf, it’s my favorite golf course in the world. I will be there for that one,” Woods concluded.
