Tiger Woods is a golf legend for a reason! Hard work, dedication, and beating the competition from the best of the rival golfers made him one of the “GOAT” in his sport. Arguably the greatest golfer of all time has thrived in perfection and success has followed him because of that.

The Big Cat grew up in this competitive environment, and he has instilled that in his children as well. A competitive perspective is always there during his interaction with the kids. Whether it is golf, soccer, or any other sport – Woods’s formula has always been “play to win”.

It’s not a secret that the most important thing in Tiger Woods‘ life is their kids. When he was going through the darkest phase in his life – his kids were the only thing that kept him going.

Brief but intimate detail about the American golfer’s parenthood was revealed by him during a press conference at the Quicken Loans National in 2015. The 46-year-old said during the time of his divorce and injuries – it was his children that kept him going as he wanted to spend more and more time with them.

“I want to spend as much time as I can with my kids. I have split custody, so when I’m at home, I want to be home with them, take them to a soccer game or to school or to activities, whatever it is. I’m their dad,” Woods said.

He also revealed that he played soccer with his kids during that time but joked that they can’t beat their dad in the game of soccer. He was even praised by his former girlfriend, Lindsey Vonn, who said he was a superb father because his actions impressed her.

“Nope. They’ll never beat their dad. They’ll wear me out, but they’ll never beat me.”

Currently, Woods is also going through a lean patch sporting-wise. In the latest rankings released last week – the golfer was not among the top 1000 golfers. This is the first time Woods has been not in top-1000 of golf global rankings. Following his car accident last year – Woods has spent a limited time on the golfing course and his rankings have suffered due to that.
