In a recent press conference, Woods praised McIlroy for his handling of the LIV nightclub situation, where a patron was left paralyzed after a confrontation with the security staff.
Woods and McIlroy will play alongside Justin Thomas for the tournament’s first two rounds, which are set to take place in California from February 17-20. The tournament will feature some of the biggest names in golf, including defending champion Adam Scott, Jordan Spieth, and Dustin Johnson.
