WATCH: How ROARING Tiger Woods went right past Michael Jordan’s DEATH STARE!

Tiger Woods Michael Jordan
Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan are both legends in their own right, even if one is from the world of basketball. The two were also great friends once upon a time when Jordan helped Woods come out of the worst phase of his life following the expose of his extramarital affairs and drop in form.
A moment from the 2006 Ryder Cup when Jordan was giving a death stare to Woods probably defines their bromance, when the American golfer was unaffected by the concern from his friend and he dexterously put the ball back into the hole. Watch below:
It could be a possibility that Jordan was just admiring Woods’ technique, which wouldn’t be a surprise considering the 46-year-old’s form back then.
The Woods-Jordan friendship began in 1996 when both were endorsing Nike and gelled during marketing shoots. Then, in 2009, when Woods was going through his dark phase of life, Jordan contributed a lot for his motivation.

Despite sex scandals, Tiger Woods’ had brand worth more than Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’ Neal

After what transpired in November 2009 when his numerous extramarital affairs were leaked to the world, leading to his divorce with ex-wife Elin Nordegren, Woods lost $22 million in endorsements the following year. Precisely, they had gone down from $92 million to $70 million in 2010.
Gatorade, AT&T and Accenture were some of the big sponsors he lost although Nike stuck to him in the difficult times. However, this year Woods became the first golfer to become a billionaire, getting all that was wasted back in multiplicative ways.
The most interesting part to note here is that such was Woods’ legacy and market value that even when he was going through his worst patch after divorce, the American golfer was much richer than sports superstars of the likes of Alex Rodriguez, Shaquille O’Neal, the late Kobe Bryant, Derek Jeter, Peyton Manning, and Dwyane Wade.
Probably the only guys who came close were Phil Mickelson if we consider the golfing world and basketball superstar LeBron James, who incidentally also became the first player from the NBA to become a billionaire in 2022.
