Twitter in a battle against unreasonable fans who won’t hear out LIV Golf’s stance

The LIV Golf series has not failed to cause its fair share of controversies since its inception. The Saudi-backed series has received a lot of criticism for signing golfers to the league for large amounts of money. However, the Series is also bringing about something new in the golf world.

The new 54-hole, team style, uncut format is something that the world hasn’t seen before. Needless to say, it has turned quite a few heads. While some might say that the Series is being intrusive, there can be no denying the Series is here to say.

Some of the biggest golfers in the world including Cameron Smith, Phil Mickelson and Bryson DeChambeau, have joined hands with the Series- and broken ties with the PGA Tour. Yet, the effect of the LIV is seen far throughout golf, and fans can’t decide who’s side to take.

As a battle ensues on the course, fans off the course are expressing their own opinions. Some are for the Series being a part of the World tours and being recognised, while others are highly critical of the Saudi affiliation to the Series.

Yet, the LIV Golf Series is here to stay, and it won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. The Series has also made its way into the OWGR Points through an alliance with MENA Tour.
