“Fake nice guy written all over him”: Twitter debates PGA Tour’s top 30 nice guys

PGA Tour, nicest guys list

The PGA Tour recently came out with a fun report, citing the 30 nicest guy on the PGA Tour. These golfers have been voted the best by fellow golfers, caddies, media and volunteers. To compile the list, more than 120 people were interviewed and asked questions, as people received some very funny replies.

Tony Finau was voted to be the nicest golfer of the year. With his ever present smile and good attitude, Finau was a hot favourite.  “If I have a conversation with a person, and I leave thinking I’ve brightened their day just a little bit somehow, that makes me happy,” he said according to Golf Digest.

The second golfer on the list was Peter Malnati, who the crowd described as relentlessly optimistic. “He’s almost too nice, too happy,” joked one player. The third golfer on the list was Jordan Spieth and people had their doubts about how he made it so high on the list.

People were shocked that some golfers like Max Homa and Jon Rahm did not make the list. However, the number four spot was taken by Rory McIlroy, while the fifth spot was picked up by Rickie Fowler. The sixth golfer on the list was Webb Simpson, while Harold Varner III was actually voted as “Player you would most want to have dinner with.”

Other people attacked the LIV Golfers, asking sarcastically where they would fall on the list. These golfers include Patrick Reed, Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson and Ian Poulter to name a few.
