“Indication of how precious life is”: Woman killed in golf buggy crash while on honeymoon with husband in the driver’s seat
Woman Killed in golf buggy crash
A recent tragic incident in which a woman killed in golf buggy crash has certainly reminded how precious life is to everyone. The woman, Marina Hanna was on her honeymoon at the Queensland’s Hamilton Island with her husband when the incident occurred. Just 29 years old, she had been married for just a week before the crash occurred.
Her husband, Robbie Morgan, who was driving the buggy, was absolutely devastated as the crash took a tragic turn and resulted in his wife’s death. A paramedic who was present on scene and other first aiders including an off duty dentist, an off duty fire officer and an off duty doctor tried to revive Hanna for 35 minutes- unfortunately to no avail.

Although it is uncertain why the golf buggy rolled, they believe it happened while the husband was turning the buggy to get it charged. “Whilst turning around, the golf buggy’s turned on its side,” Queensland Police Inspector Anthony Cowan said on Tuesday to 7news.au.com. “Obviously (it has) turned too quick and the vehicle’s rolled on its side. I could only imagine how the driver is feeling, when you’re on your honeymoon and your partner’s now deceased.”
“In this incident alone there was no alcohol involved and no dangerous driving, obviously inexperienced driving that type of vehicle and a simple crash has resulted in this result. It’s certainly an indication of how precious life is and how dangerous all vehicles on the road can be if not used correctly. As you can imagine, the family are struggling through this time, it really is a sad incident for everybody involved,” he said on Wednesday.
