Twitter reactions on Musk-Mickelsen’s Twitter conversation

The netizens came up with drastically apart views on this conversation between Elon Musk and Phil Mickelsen. On one hand, some stood in favour of the golfer’s reply while others criticized him for supporting the person who didn’t pay taxes for many years.

Ron Leckfor (@1LightwaveTech) wrote: “In recent years, @elonmusk hasn’t paid the federal government much in taxes. By using the technique of borrowing money against the value of his stocks given as compensation. A strategy of tax avoidance. This 11 billion is just make up for years he didn’t pay much in Federal Tax.”

Another Twitter user (@Grady_Booch) commented: “Hey, Phil, what a nice message.

How about giving a thank you to the millions upon millions of American citizens who pay all of their taxes every year too?”
