“I’ll give him a milk’s chance, 2%”: Tiger Woods’ comeback seems unrealistic for Shannon Sharpe
Shannon Sharpe and Tiger Woods
Recently, Tiger Woods made quite the headlines, as he was rumoured to make a comeback in golf. The 15 time Major winner arrived at Augusta National a week before the tournament was to begin.
The golf world was taken by storm, as several players and fans were excited to see the legend back in action. Woods went on to mention that it would be last minute as to whether he would play the Masters or not, but he still believes that he can win that sixth green jacket and create history.
Shannon Sharp thinks Tiger Woods might struggle at the Masters
Shannon Sharpe said that he could still see the damage that the crash did to Woods, as he could still see the limp in his foot. “I’ll give him a milk’s chance, 2%. But I believe he’ll make the cut, and he’ll play well. In Tiger’s mind, showing up isn’t good enough, he thinks he can win,” said Sharpe.
Sharpe gave credit to the difficulty that Woods has gone through over the last 14-15 months. Sharpe however thinks that it is too unrealistic of people to think that Woods can go ahead and win this entire tournament, especially with mental pressure and being out of practice for a long time.
