Israel Adesanya and Uriah Hall

Uriah Hall, the Jamaican American MMA fighter is scheduled to fight the former middleweight champion, Chris Weidman. Unfortunately, Hall will have to wait to avenge his loss to Chris from 2010 as the fight has been postponed after Weidman tested positive for coronavirus. Now the fight is rescheduled to April.

Uriah Hall, ranked #8, is looking past his challenges and has his eyes on the current middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya. He is coming off three consecutive wins in which he KO’d former middleweight champion, Anderson Silva. Hall has won four of his last five fights, which includes a win over Krzysztof Jotko and Bevon Lewis.

Israel Adesanya is currently holding an impeccable record of 20-0-0. The unbeaten champion is coming off a second-round knockout win against Paulo Costa. He will be challenging, Jan Blachowicz for the light heavyweight strap.

While Hall wants to fight Israel, he affirms that it isn’t out of grudge. But more of a sportive likeness.

Uriah said, “I want to fight him so bad because I get him. There’s not a lot of dynamic people left, and for those who are dynamic and not winning, they’re trying to be flashy. [I’m talking about] that dynamic with fluidity. I have that fluidity. It’s coming out. I lost it for awhile because I was in La La Land but man, I’m putting my sh*t together.”

“If you thought the Anderson fight was cool, wait until you see this”

Hall is very aware that he needs to get off an impressive win against Weidman to get that fight with Israel. “Good god, I want to fight this f*cker so bad,” Hall exclaimed.

Hall explains his desire to be the best fighter in this world and he’d do anything to get there. He is very clear that he won’t be a sell-out. The fighter also does not believe in the stories the media portrayal of him and hates the ranking system. In the end, Uriah Hall wants to keep winning.
