After Serena Williams attended Grigor Dimitrov’s Miami Open match, rumors of their relationship in the past have since struck a chord in fans. But, while still trying to digest the rumor, Dimitrov was again spotted with another tennis player, Alize Lim, after a night party in Monaco.
In the viral video, Dimitrov was dressed in a black suit in the front seat of his gold Lamborghini Aventador sports car waiting for French tennis player Alize Lim. Immediately, Lim entered the car, he drove away. However, reports prove that the two had attended a night party together just hours after Lim had featured as an interviewer for Eurosport at the Monte Carlo Masters.
Despite no official announcement as to whether the duo are in a relationship, they have known each other since they met at Patrick Mouratoglou Academy 15 years ago. They have been friends since then, but rumors of a relationship became serious after Lim officially broke up with her basketball star boyfriend Tony Parker in February.
However, Lim’s career has been the opposite of Dimitrov’s. The French 33-year-old reached a career-high of No.135 in the WTA rankings and has for the past four years played only six matches. Lim last played in March at the WTA Challenger. But, she has earned a reputable career as a tennis analyst. She’s with the Eurosport Team and was largely involved at the Monte Carlo Masters, interviewing several players.
Besides that, Dimitrov has granted her several interviews in the past and with a recent video of both in a car, has made social media believe there’s more to their friendship. Just like Dimitrov and Serena Williams, who were seen hugging each other in Miami and have been known to speak highly about their friendship.
Grigor Dimitrov dropped one position after Monte Carlo’s early exit
Bulgarian ace Grigor Dimitrov dropped one position in the ATP ranking after crashing out in the Round of 16 of the Monte Carlo Masters. The No.10 lost to Holger Rune after beating Valentin Vacherot and Miomir Kecmanovic. He is 35 points behind Hubert Hurkacz, who is in the 9th position.
Monte Carlo Masters champion Stefanos Tsitsipas climbed from 12th to 7th, getting into the Top 10 since dropping in February. But, Novak Djokovic maintains his position as the No.1 with Jannik Sinner just behind him.
Dimitrov is not going to participate in the Barcelona Open after exiting early from the Monte Carlo Masters. The Bulgarian began the season well by winning the Brisbane International and reaching the Miami Open finals.
