WrestleMania 42 Go-Home Raw Edition Sees Gunther and Seth Rollins Engage in a Brawl
Seth Rollins vs. Gunther has all the juice to be one of the best matches of WrestleMania 42 when it's all said and done.

This Saturday at WrestleMania, Gunther will take on Seth Rollins in one of the most anticipated matches that weekend. ‘The Ring General’ showed up on this week’s Raw to deliver his final message to Rollins, but the latter jumped him and started unloading on the Austrian. Once the latter somehow retreated, Rollins grabbed a mic and went off.
‘The Visionary’ was dying to know Gunther’s real intentions behind going after him. Rollins was done listening that it was personal to the former NXT UK Champion. He wanted to know what that exactly meant or if ‘The Ring General’ was instead working for Paul Heyman only to acquire a favor from him. The 6-time world champion dared Gunther to come back and look him in the eyes like a man.
Gunther didn’t back down from Rollins and went back to butt heads with ‘The Architect’. The erstwhile Walter said he’s indeed solving Heyman’s problem with a smile on his face, and it’s because the former Shield member had been pissing him off. Gunther stressed that Rollins, for years, strutted down that aisle thinking he was the best in that ring. But in reality he’s not, and it’s Gunther instead.
‘The Career Killer’ further said that ‘The Visionary’ became a useful idiot for Paul Heyman at a time when Rollins should’ve been seeking the highest level of competition, with Gunther being the world champion. And that’s why it’s very personal for the Vienna-born wrestler to prove to Rollins at WrestleMania that he can’t lace his boots. Gunther shoved Rollins away in disgust, prompting the latter to retort with punches.
Rollins ate a knee to his midsection and was lifted up by ‘The Ring General’ for a powerbomb, but Rollins countered it with a big boot. That sent the former Imperium leader outside, and he was positioned vulnerably near the steel steps. Seth Rollins ran in to curb-stomp Gunther on that steel. It didn’t happen as the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion got out of harm’s way in time.
Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi signed their WrestleMania contracts on Raw
This week’s Raw opened with Triple H and Adam Pearce in the ring. The GM of the red brand announced that Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi will sign their respective contracts separately to avoid a brawl-like situation. Paul Heyman was quick to cut Pearce off, and he brought out Lesnar. ‘The Beast’ stepped into the ring and immediately signed on the dotted line.

Heyman said that his client had signed off on a Nigerian death warrant, with the crowd chanting for Femi. Lesnar snatched the mic from Heyman to say that no one will even know Femi’s name after WrestleMania. Later on in the show, it was time for the second half of the contract signing. Pearce, alongside Triple H, brought Femi out.
Just as ‘The Ruler’ stepped into the ring, he was told by ‘The Game’ to turn around as Heyman was standing on the entrance ramp. ‘The Wiseman’ hailed the Nigerian as the most violent and fastest-rising star to the top since Brock Lesnar. So it’d all come crashing down for Oba at WrestleMania when he loses to Lesnar.
Heyman, however, said that there’s no shame in losing to ‘The One in 21-1’ and that Heyman’s doors will always be open to Femi if he needs to rebuild his career after getting conquered by ‘The Beast Incarnate’. The former NXT Champion got on the mic and said that Heyman and Lesnar issued an open challenge for WrestleMania two months ago.
‘The Oracle’ also bragged about his client’s near-invincible WWE career almost spanning 25 years. But Femi proved in the last month that Lesnar is indeed beatable. ‘The Bringer of War’ later stated that Heyman has been there with Lesnar for the most part and has been a mouthpiece to him as well. But he’s never been an honest one.
Because if he were, he’d have declared that the 10-time world champion is scared of Oba Femi, as he’s the ruler, the destroyer, and the mountain that Lesnar couldn’t climb. Femi said that he’s the one and he’s always been that way and that everyone will know it after he slays Lesnar at WrestleMania.
