Hailee Steinfeld, an Academy award-nominated actress, and Josh Allen are one of NFL’s most loved couples. The 28-year-old The Edge of Seventeen star expressed her pride in the Buffalo Bills quarterback amid a heartbreaking loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.
The Buffalo Bills emerged as a strong Super Bowl contender, after a thrilling regular season with 13 wins in 17 games, including triumphs over Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions. Josh Allen finished the regular season with 3731 passing yards with 28 passing TDs at a 63.2 completion rate. He also played a role on the ground with 531 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns.
The Bills sailed through the Wild Card and the Divisional Round games against the Denver Broncos and the Baltimore Ravens to set up the second conference game in five years. However, their dreams of a first Super Bowl appearance since 1993 were shattered by the Chiefs with a 32-29 victory in the fourth quarter.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with E! News’ Francesca Amiker, Steinfeld expressed admiration for her fiance.
To say the least, I am so proud of that man and everything he’s done, and everything that team has done together. He is the hardest working person I know.

Allen has previously spoken about Steinfeld’s role in his career. After breaking the most career wins for a quarterback in the first seven seasons, Allen had opened up about how Steinfeld boosted his career to the Associated Press.
She’s been a huge part. The morale, the support. When I get home, she’s my biggest fan, my biggest supporter. She’s just the best.

Steinfeld and Allen first sparked dating rumors in 2023 before making their relationship Instagram official in July 2024. Though they have largely kept their romance private, the couple announced their engagement in November with a heartfelt photo of the NFL star proposing. Their Instagram post, featuring Allen kneeling in front of a floral arch, was simply captioned, “11•22•24.”

Josh Allen might not have the chance to play in the Super Bowl this year, however, Hailee Steinfeld is crossing an item off her bucket list with a Super Bowl appearance this year.
The Pitch Perfect alum is gearing up for her debut Super Bowl commercial with Novartis, a campaign focused on raising awareness for breast cancer risk screening. She opened up to Amiker and expressed her gratitude for being part of a large campaign aimed at women’s health.
I, like many others, know someone who has been affected by breast cancer. It was so important to me, the idea and just the honor alone of being involved and partnering with Novartis… It’s going to reach so many people—just knowing that it’s so empowering to know your body and know your risk. I’m really honored to be a part of this.

She expressed hope that her advertisement will encourage women to get checked as early detection helps in the reduction of aggressive cases in the latter stages.
According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, breast cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer among women in the U.S. However, early detection can result in a survival rate of over 99%.
