Former German legend Jurgen Klinsmann expressed his support for Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane, to end his trophy-less career at the Bavarian giants, next season. This was contrary to the popular belief that the Englishman is cursed, when it comes to winning trophies.
The 30-year old English forward moved to Bayern Munich last summer, after spending 13 seasons at Tottenham Hotspur. Although he was anticipated to finally win a major trophy, Bayern ended the 2023-24 season without any silverware. Nonetheless, he had an impressive debut season in Germany, scoring 44 goals in 45 matches. Bayern finished third in the Bundesliga and were eliminated in the UCL semi-finals.
Ex-Tottenham legend Klinsmann, although, holds a different opinion on Harry Kane, who he felt is poised to win a major trophy next season. The former World Cup winner has been impressed by how well Kane has adapted to life in Munich and praised his exceptional integration with the club, its culture, and its people. This is not the first time that Klinsmann has expressed optimism in the Englishman’s talents; he previously backed him to win the Ballon d’Or after his move to Bayern last season.
