Recent rumors have surfaced online about a possible breakup between Jannik Sinner and Anna Kalinskaya. The 2024 Australian Open champion has been one of the most focused players this year, which has also put his love life in the spotlight as well.
The couple met in early 2024 but officially announced their relationship at the French Open. However, at that time, Sinner made it clear that they would keep their relationship private. They were seen attending each other’s matches and have since enjoyed a long vacation together.
At one point, Sinner and Kalinskaya were about to become a winning duo, as they both had a great tournament individually. While Sinner won in Halle, Kalinskaya came runners up in Berlin. However, on the 10th of August morning, rumors spread that the two have unfollowed each other on Instagram. While this is not entirely true, as their names still show on each other’s followers’ list, there is proof that upon searching, the names are not found.
In the latest development, it showed that Kalinskaya has since re-followed Sinner. Although, this is also not fully true as there are still people who find her name missing from the Italian’s list of followers only when searched.

Jannik Sinner advances to the third round at the Canadian Open, Anna Kalinskaya withdraws
Canadian Open defending champion Jannik Sinner continues to cruise past opponents and advance to the next rounds. He received a first-round bye and had to play in the second round against Borna Coric.
Sinner was once again in his best form as he got past the Croatian in straight sets. With that, he made it to the third round and took on Alejandro Tabilo next, whom he beat in straight sets as well.
The 2024 Australian Open winner missed the Paris Olympics due to illness and is now back on tour. After a great first half of the season, he has not had much success in the latter half but is still one of the favorites for the upcoming US Open.
On the other hand, his girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya also returned from injury to play in Toronto. She got off to a flying first-round win against Lesia Tsurenko but pulled out in her sound match (against Amanda Anisimova) due to injury. Once again, the Russian is out due to injury and might take a while to recover before the last Grand Slam.
