Cryptocurrency scams are known to teach people certain lessons if not a return on investments. One of them added to the list is golf model Paige Spiranac. Although the new realization came about as a dig at the internet sensation, the ‘Hawk Tuah’ girl, Haliey Welch.
Welch recently shot her shot at capitalizing on her minutes of fame by launching her cryptocurrency. Unfortunately, it crashed faster than the influencer had risen to fame. Hours post-launching, the coin had a good surge, having hit a market cap of $490 million. However, within a span of hours, the coin plummeted 95%, going down to $41.7 million in valuation. Amid the ongoing controversy, Paige Spiranac took a dig at Welch, per her recent post on X.

The users on the platform immediately chimed in on the post’s comment section. A majority of them were people in agreement with the golf influencer. While some roasted the people who invested in the coin, the others took a dig at Welch.
The likely conjecture was that Haliey Welch ultimately ‘secured the bag’. Subsequently, people accused the influencer of having distributed it to the insiders before the launch.
