Derrick Lewis just knocked Curtis Blaydes out in the main event of UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs Lewis. A lot of eyes were set on this main event and these two athletes didn’t disappoint.
Lewis ended the fight with a brutal uppercut and kept throwing punches until Blaydes was down, he was pulled off by the referee and the fight was stopped. When asked about it why he didn’t stop after the uppercut, to which he said that he isn’t like the other guys, when he gets going, he can’t just snap out of it and stop himself until the referee steps in.
He further added, “I gotta wait until the referee pull me off because you never know what happens. Anything can happen. He could turn into the Undertaker and sit straight up and eat all those shots,”

Derrick Lewis made a hilarious comment about the cold weather of his hometown Houston, when asked to comment on Houston’s situation he said, “The reason Houston is so cold is because my balls aren’t there.”
This was a nod to UFC 229, where he removed his Reebok shorts after the fight, and when Joe Rogan asked him why he did that he said, “My balls was hot.” These types of hilarious comments from “The Black Beast” just keep on coming along with the knockouts and now we are just waiting for him to get inside the octagon and compete again.
