Three Lions coach Gareth Southgate believes that youngster Jude Bellingham will be in the squad for the Euros in the summer. Bellingham came on to replace Mason Mount at halftime.
England defeated San Marino by five goals to nil to begin their FIFA World Cup Qualifiers for 2022 Qatar. Ollie Watkins scored on his debut along with Dominic Calvert Lewin netting twice.
Gareth Southgate is full of praise for Jude Bellingham
Jude Bellingham made his senior debut in November last year when he came on as a substitute for twenty odd minutes against Northern Ireland. Up until now he has made 35 appearances for Borussia Dortmund after making the switch from Birmingham City FC. He became the youngest scorer for Borussia Dortmund after netting a goal at age seventeen.
Gareth Southgate is heavily impressed with the Youngsters progress and believes they can fast-track his inclusion into the senior team.
“He’s a player we think is going to be an England international in the future,” Southgate told ITV.
“We feel that in that area of the pitch, although we were very happy with everybody tonight, we are a little bit short in numbers.

“For us to help develop him, to put him into games and to try and get him with the team, with the development he is getting at Dortmund as well, we’re hoping we can play a part in fast-tracking him into the group.”
England will be continuing their world cup qualifiers against Albania on Thursday and then against Poland on March 31st.
The English team will then face Romania in a friendly in June before Euro 2020 gets started.
They will be facing Croatia, Scotland and Czech Republic in the group stage of the tournament.
