“He wouldn’t go against the players”-Pogba lauds OGS
Manchester United have yet again qualified for one more semifinal in the ongoing 2020/21 season. The club has reached the knockout stage in every competition that they have played. Only in FA Cup, the club faltered in the quarterfinals whereas they couldn’t go beyond the semi-finals in Carabao Cup yet again. Despite having two-goal lead, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer picked chose to field a strong line-up consisting of Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes. The team was able to muster out a victory at Old Trafford on Thursday.
The team was off to a great start when Cavani scored in the seventh minute and extended the aggregate score to 3-0. After the victory, Red Devils’ first captain of the game, Paul Pogba lauded Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his support for players. Manchester United had three captains in the 90 minutes on the pitch.
What Paul Pogba had to say about Ole’s man management?
Paul Pogba was handed the captain’s armband against Granada even when the likes of Bruno Fernandes and David de Gea were present. The player enjoyed his time on the pitch and even assisted Edinson Cavani for the first goal of the game. However, the manager decided to take out the player from the pitch soon after the first half as he was awarded a yellow card. The French international was beaming with confidence and praised his manager’s man-management skills.
Comparing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s man-management to that of Jose Mourinho’s, Paul Pogba said:

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men will face Sean Dyche Burnley in the Premier League on Sunday. Though Manchester City are running away with the title, United are trying to sneak into the gap if City slip-up. A victory on Sunday will further solidify Manchester United’s claim on the second spot in the league.
