Anvil in Minecraft
The Anvil in Minecraft is a very useful block that allows players to repair, name or combine enchantments. They are very useful as they allow the weapons and armors to get enchanted, which is a big part of the game.

Players can repair items by combining them with other items from the same category. Moreover, any enchantment that one item has can be combined together in the repaired item.
Players can also rename items for the cost of 1 level. They can also be used to make locator maps or clone the available maps.
Enchanted books and tools can be placed together in the Anvil to enchant the items.
Anvils can spawn naturally only in a Woodland Mansion, which is one of the rarest locations in the game. Therefore, it isn’t a viable idea to find it, so instead players can simply make it from scratch.
How to make an Anvil in Minecraft?
Players need only one item and a Crafting table to make an Anvil in Minecraft.
The requirements for making an Anvil are:
- 31 total blocks of Iron Ingots
- Crafting table
Iron Ingots can be found by mining underground for Iron blocks and then smelting them in a Furnace.
A crafting table can be made using a few blocks of wood.
How to craft:
Players must first build 3 Blocks of Iron with 27 Iron Ingots. Players need to place them in the manner shown in the picture to make a Block of Iron.
After this place the three blocks of iron on the top row and 4 iron ingots as in the picture shown above.
This will give the player with a completed Anvil in Minecraft!
