How to place a bounty on another player in GTA 5

GTA 5 players can often be hostile, killing any other player they see in freemode regardless of whether the player is in a mission, challenge or idle. Sometimes, the best solution to deal with such players is placing a bounty on them. This way the whole lobby would try to kill the player for the reward. This article shows the different steps to place a bounty on another player in GTA 5.

How to place a bounty on another player in GTA 5:

Step 1: Open the in-game smartphone.

Step 2: Navigate to the Contacts app.

Step 3: Call Lester from the list of Contacts that appear.

Step 4: Select the place a bounty on a player option.

Step 5: Select the player on who the bounty must be placed from the list that appears containing the names of the player in the current session.

Step 6: Select the bounty reward amount for anyone who manages the targeted player. This number can be anywhere between $2000 and $10,000.

Step 7: Pay the bounty amount plus the additional $1000 bounty fee.

Step 8: The bounty is now placed on the player for 48 mins(1-in game day). This bounty goes to anyone who manages to kill the target within 48 mins. If the target manages to survive the bounty, it is then lifted off and the target receives the reward amount.
