The eSports fraternity as well as iOS users are rejoiced after spending several months in despair as BGMI has been finally released for iOS. Now, players are eager to transfer their data from PUBG Mobile to BGMI in their iOS devices.
The iOS release comes months after the game was released for Android devices. Android users were given the option to pre-register for the game which gave them various rewards in return, however, iOS users were not required to pre-register as they were able to open the game directly and redeem the pre-register rewards from the events section. As android users were able to transfer data from PUBG Mobile to BGMI, iOS users can do the same.

PUBG Mobile to BGMI: How to transfer player data in iOS devices?
Krafton has given a specific period to the players to migrate their data from PUBG Mobile to BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India), the data can be migrated till 31st December,2021. The app asks for your consent whether you are willing to migrate your data or not. The data is transferred from the previous version (the version which is running when Livik is introduced V – 0.19.0) which is owed by Proxima Beta Pte. limited.

The data which is transferred will be stored in either Indian or Singapore cloud servers (Krafton-owned).Moreover, once the data is transferred successfully, the personal data which is collected by the previous version will be removed from the other company’s server completely and no longer to retrievable. However, some data such as ‘popularity’,’friend list’ and in-game mail won’t be transferred.
Down below we have provided a step-by-step guide on how to transfer Player data from PUBG Mobile to BGMI.
Step 1: Open BGMI and log in with your Facebook or Twitter account. Players will be asked to create a new account with new nickname and character, however, they don’t need to worry as this character won’t be valid once they transfer their data.
Step 2: Players will be asked whether they reside in India, click on ‘Yes’. After that, BGMI asks for your consent whether you want to transfer your data or not, click on ‘Yes, please continue’.
Step 3: Players will be taken to a new window whether they’ll be given some more details regarding the data transfer. Click on Yes and after that click on Yes, I’ll continue
Step 4: Players can only transfer the data of their PUBG Mobile account if the accounts were linked to Twitter or Facebook. Players should select that social media platform which is linked to their PUBG Mobile account. A final dialogue box will asks your confirmation on the data transfer. By clicking on ‘Yes’, all of your previous PUBG Mobile’s player data will be transferred to BGMI.
Then you will be redirected to the game’s log-in page. Log in with your given social media account. Upon a successful login, the data will be transferred gradually to BGMI account. If players wish to create a new ID, they can login with a new Facebook or Twitter account or avoid the option of data transfer.
