Fortnite Battle Stars
A new season in Fortnite definitely means a new storyline as well as a new theme. With the release of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 trailer, players have seen a massive change in the storyline, shifting from Aliens to Cubes. The use of battle stars remains the same. Battle Stars are a currency in the game that is used to purchase Cosmetic items in the Battle Pass. Battle Stars were introduced with the launch of the Battle Pass.
These battle stars are awarded to players upon gaining enough XP to complete a level. 5 Battle Stars are awarded for each level gained, including levels purchased with V-Bucks. Battle Stars are not awarded beyond the amount needed to unlock everything in the Battle Pass. Depending on the number of Stars players have, they can choose the items they want to claim from the battle pass itself.
Battle Stars also give players a bit of freedom to choose which items they want to unlock. Players can’t buy the level 100 skin right from the start, but they can choose the order in which they get there. Players can get Fortnite Battle Stars just by leveling up and the entry-level of Fortnite Battle Pass additionally provides players five Battle Stars.
