Jadhav, born in Kolhapur, had began his footballing career with Pune FC Academy, where he spent three years, and played across multiple age groups.

Aniket was drafted in the Indian u-17 national team for the U-17 World Cup in India in 2017 after a selection trial and never looked back from there, as his talent caught eyes of many.

Jadhav constantly impressed during his time with the national youth team and was a integral part of the squad that competed in the AFC U-16 Championships and the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2017, largely impressing by his performances.

The youngster then went onto become a part of the Indian Arrows squad for two seasons in 2017-19 , bagging two goals in his 18 appearances in the I-League for the Arrows. Aniket was snatched up by Jamshedpur FC the next season, where he made his ISL debut and featured in 27 games over two seasons, netting twice.

“I can’t wait to play for Hyderabad FC and I am looking forward to working with the exciting squad and coaching staff at the club,” Jadhav exclaimed his joy to sign for his new club, raring to get going.

“Given that many of the good young players in the ISL are playing for HFC, there will be a healthy competition amongst us to push each other in becoming the best,” Aniket added.

“Young players, especially attackers, need to play regularly. But it is not easy for them to maintain a high level throughout the season. This is where competition is important in a squad and Aniket will fit right in,” said Hyderabad FC head coach Manolo Marquez, who believes that Jadhav will be a good addition to his team with the versatility he possesses.

“He is fast and can play in any attacking position. Wingers are important for our style and I’m sure that Aniket will be a good addition to our squad,” the Spaniard added.
