“I just GAVE UP on it” Bayley reveals how her dream had almost shattered after the release of popular WWE superstar

Bayley’s SummerSlam return along with Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky was described as one of the most shocking returns on a PPV. SummerSlam 2022 was the first PPV under the new management and it was made extravagant in every sense. Bayley’s return along with two released superstars had everyone taken by a shock as Bayley had been out of action due to an injury.

But as she made a comeback not only did she establish herself as a top heel standing against Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch. Bayley named her faction as CONTROL consisting of her, IYO SKY and Dakota Kai. Bayley even before her injury when she turned into a top heel had a wish that she would have her own faction someday which she’ll lead from the front.

Bayley addresses how she gave up on her dream faction after Dakota Kai’s release

Bayley, IYO SKY, and Dakota Kai had returned to SummerSlam 2022 in a shocking move.

Well, it seems like Triple H came as a genie to fulfill her wish as she got her faction on RAW. In a latest interview Bayley talked about her faction and how she feels to lead it in which she revealed that during her time off the company when she had read that Dakota Kai has been released she had lost all hopes of forming her own faction someday.

In a podcast with Corey Graves Bayley said– “That was really heartbreaking for me because she [Dakota Kai] was the first one that I really thought would fit so well. I just felt we had a really cool dynamic and that our styles work well together, and our characters would work well together. And when she was like [released], I just kind of gave up on it.”

But something was eating at me. I didn’t want to come back alone. I didn’t want to come back and just fall into the same thing. I really believe that there is some change that needs to happen in order for everybody to take the women’s division to a different level.” She said that she had imagined Kai to be her perfect partner in crime for a faction due to their dynamic in ring chemistry and similarities between their fighting style as well.

In the later part of the interview Bayley also revealed that Triple H really helped him to get on board with the idea. She said- “Obviously, Hunter is a huge impact on all of us and working with him over so many years, he helped me a lot just trying to figure out that vision.”

“It was just like let me just give it one last try and see what he says so that I can either move on from it or keep pushing for it and make tweaks if there needs to be. I think everybody just kind of at once thought, like, OK, maybe this can work but it has to be with the right people.”
