“I look forward to this new experience”: Olympic champion Justin Gatlin announced as TCS World 10k Marathon ambassador

2004 Olympic Champion and sprint legend Justin Gatlin has been announced as the brand ambassador for the TCS World 10k Marathon that is expected to be held on 15th May.

The American, who is also a four time world champion, is quite well known for his duals with another great sprinter, Usain Bolt. Gatlin won the 100m bronze medal behind Bolt and Yohan Blake at the 2012 London Olympics and silver medal behind Bolt again at Rio Olympics.

Gatlin retired just earlier this year after turning 40, a year after he failed to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. “The last two years have been challenging for all of us and made me realise the importance of being together,” said Gatlin according to sportstar.thehindu.
