‘I would welcome Tyson Fury to that’ – Anthony Joshua says he would love to fight Tyson Fury at the Wembley Stadium
Anthony Joshua recently said that he would love to fight Tyson Fury at the Wembley Stadium, also adding that it would largely depend on the way the government handles the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury seems imminent and is surely the next big fight in line, in the boxing world. The fight will be a heavyweight title unification bout, as Anthony Joshua currently holds four titles (WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles) while Tyson has two (WBC and The Ring heavyweight titles).
Speaking of this to Sky Sports, Anthony Joshua revealed that he would welcome fury to the national stadium while also exclaiming that it would be brilliant for the kids of the local area, since it is close by.
‘It’s like half an hour drive, a couple of hours’ drive for some of them‘ – Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua was quoted as saying, “I would welcome Tyson Fury to that. I would welcome him to that all day. It’s brilliant for the kids of the local areas to come down. It’s like half an hour drive, a couple of hours’ drive for some of them. It’s a brilliant opportunity to have it here as well, but the government have got to do right by the people and protect us from this virus. I understand the situation that the country is in.”
AJ is coming off a dominating victory over Kubrat Pulev, only last month, which also saw him earn the right to challenge Tyson Fury. Fury, on the other hand, hasn’t fought since pulverizing Deontay Wilder in February, last year.
Will we see the fight taking place at the famed Wembley Stadium?
