Ian Garry is ready to fight Colby Covington at the next available UFC event. So far, Covington has not entertained the fight other than issuing some trash talks. The feud started with Covington challenging Garry to sign the contract, but he has gone silent for weeks. Now, Garry wants to fight Covington on UFC 303, which features Conor McGregor‘s comeback.

Ian Machado Garry recently sent out a tweet on X. Garry felt Colby Covington was delaying the fight for no reason. He wants to fight Covington in the co-main event of Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler. As such, Garry accused Covington of ruining an epic night action by not signing the contract.

Conor McGregor will finally fight Michael Chandler in a welterweight bout this June. UFC CEO Dana White confirmed this at the post-fight press conference at UFC 300. It has been over a year since Chandler and McGregor competed as rival coaches on The Ultimate Fighter. The fight will happen at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, Jamahal Hill and Khalil Rountree Jr. will headline the co-main event spot.

Ian Garry is yet to taste his first defeat. His last bout was against Geoff Neal at UFC 298. The fight went the distance, and Ian Garry walked away with a split-decision victory. Meanwhile, Covington lost his most recent fight, a title shot against Leon Edwards at UFC 296.

Garry recently sent out screenshots of his DMs to Covington. The screenshots showed Garry calling Covington a coward and asking the American welterweight to sign the contract for the event. Moreover, Ian Garry is not ready to accept Jamahal Hill vs. Khalil Rountree Jr. as the co-main event of UFC 303.

There have been no official comments from Colby Covington regarding a potential fight. The leg injury of Covington might be the cause for the fight’s delay. Will Colby Covington back his claims and fight Garry under the McGregor undercard? Only time will tell.
