‘If I were Jon Jones’ size, I would probably f**k him up’ – Demetrious Johnson makes an interesting claim

One of the greatest flyweights of all time, Demetrious Johnson will be fighting for the ONE Championship flyweight title against current ONE Championship flyweight champion, Adriano Moraes, early next year. Having left the UFC as one of the greats of the promotion, ‘Mighty Mouse’ hardly faced any struggle when he joined ONE Championship and is currently 3-0 in his new promotion.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani, in Helwani’s MMA Show, Demetrious Johnson claimed that he would f**k Jon Jones up, if he were his size.
“I pushed people before and I know I would push him” – Demetrious Johnson
Demetrious Johnson was quoted as saying, “I believe he could beat everybody at Light Heavyweight and I think he could beat everybody at Heavyweight. Don’t get me wrong, if I were Jon Jones’ size, I would probably f**k him up. I know, mentally and physically and skillfully, I would push him. I pushed people before and I know I would push him.”
When further questioned on the same, Demetrious Johnson clarified that he would push him and try to get it done and not necessarily win the fight. Speaking of which Demetrious said:
“I said I would go out there and push him, doesn’t mean I would win the fight. I’m saying that if I were the same size as him and I have all the attributes that I have now – my mental capacity, my discipline, my skill set, I know I would go in there and push him. I know everybody else would say ‘I would do the same’. But I’ve proven that when I’m down I can push, I always try to get it done.”
