Iga Swiatek is a brand ambassador of On running shoes after she joined hands with the Swiss brand last year. She became the first female athlete to sign the deal with the Roger Federer co-owned brand.
Swiatek has now featured in a new ON advertisement which is set to be premiered on May 22nd. The brand has already released the trailer in which Swiatek reiterated that she wants to be an inspiration for the kids.
On a daily basis, I do not think about how I am number one in the world. I just feel my perfectionism is pretty hard on me. I often just have situations where I feel the whole weight of Poland on my shoulders. I would just like to give inspiration to the younger generation that you may, in a sense, dream.Iga Swiatek said

Swiatek used to wear Nike shoes during the early years of her career, then switched to Asics in 2020. Last year, during a practice session in Cincinnati, instead of the On shoes, she donned the Asics and later revealed that the brand had been working to get her the perfect customized shoes.
Iga Swiatek credited Roger Federer for On’s image among the tennis players
Roger Federer invested an undisclosed amount in On in 2019. This happened after David Allemann and the two other founders of the brand encouraged the 20-time Grand Slam champion to become a co-entrepreneur. Federer agreed, and he spent 20 days working in On’s lab, making the shoes as close to perfect for running.
Iga Swiatek, after becoming On’s brand ambassador, revealed her decision to wear its shoes. She said Federer’s involvement in the brand has influenced tennis players to look for On’s shoes.
Well, from my side, I think just the fact that Roger is involved in that kind of company is just a good kind of recommendation for tennis players. I think also he influenced a lot on their side, so that's why they want to go further and they want to sign players.Iga Swiatek told the press ahead of last year’s Cincinnati Open
Federer retired in 2022, while Swiatek has been enjoying a great season in 2024, having lifted four titles already. The fourth title she won was in Rome, and now she will be giving all her attention to the upcoming Roland Garros. The 22-year-old Pole would be arriving in Paris as the defending champion.
