“I’m not buying into the Dallas Cowboys nonsense anymore” Joy Taylor rips into ‘America’s Team’ for their abysmal playoff performances

The Dallas Cowboys are one of the biggest teams in all of sports. They have five Super Bowl wins which is the 2nd most of any franchise ever. They are always bringing in great talent to remain competitive but, when it comes to the playoffs, they just aren’t.

This year’s Cowboys team was one of the better ones from the past few seasons. They had an offense that was clicking and coming into the playoffs they were healthy. The defense had a massive turnaround from bringing in Dan Quinn.

Despite all that, they still went 0-1 in this year’s playoffs producing an absolute dud against the 49ers at home. It was a ridiculously bad performance in which they looked like an absolute shell of themselves. This has prompted Joy Taylor to call out having faith in the Dallas Cowboys.

Appearing on ‘The Herd’ Joy Taylor was quoted saying “Tom Brady has 5 playoffs with the Buccaneers in two years which is more than the Dallas Cowboys have in the last 25 years. They have 3. I’m not buying into the Cowboys nonsense anymore. The way that their season ended this year was a disaster.”

She also added “3 playoff wins in the last 25 years. That is remarkable. And the Cowboys are a bit of a victim of their own brand’s success. They always have exciting stars, beautiful facilities, great fans, and all the best ratings. So, there’s not a lot of motivation to change how they do business. But I just don’t believe the Dallas Cowboys will have any more success than what they’ve had the way that Jerry Jones does things.”

This year’s performance is just one of the numerous abysmal letdowns that the Cowboys have had to endure in the postseason over this stretch since their last Super Bowl. Something has to change. Whether it’s from the side of the front office or closer to the field with coaching. Something needs to be different.

Going into 2022, the Cowboys will look like a similar team to this year so, it’s fair to expect them to be in the postseason again. But one or two wins once they get there, while that would be progress, simply isn’t enough to show that what they’re doing is working.
