Both Jannik Sinner and Anna Kalinskaya had a somewhat disappointing campaign at the recently concluded Wimbledon Championships. While Sinner reached the quarterfinal and lost to Daniil Medvedev in five sets, Kalinskaya, who is yet to win a title this year, gave a walkover to Elena Rybakina in the fourth round after suffering an arm injury.

After Wimbledon, he was scheduled to play in Bastad but instead, he decided to take some rest before starting his training for the Olympics. During his downtime, he made a trip to Costa Smeralda, Sardinia, with Kalinskaya.

The 22-year-old once talked about whether ‘love’ is a distraction for him as a tennis player. He pointed out that the best tennis players also have families of wives and children.

Of course, it's not easy, I travel a lot and during tournaments, I'm very focused. But I think it's a beautiful thing when you find the right love. Like for everyone. And then, if you think about it, the best tennis players in the world all have wives and children.
Jannik Sinner told Vanity Fair Italia

The World No.1 has won four titles this year, including the Australian Open. Before Wimbledon, Sinner played in the Halle Open and won the tournament. At the Roland Garros, he lost in the semifinal to Carlos Alcaraz, who then went on to become the champion. Sinner’s next goal is to train himself for the upcoming Paris Olympics, where he will play in singles and doubles matches with Lorenzo Musetti.
