Former NXT Champion accuses Jade Cargill of “starting sh*t” with her ahead of their match on SmackDown

Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell have been involved in a feud with Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair over the past few weeks. The duo had challenged the Women’s Tag Team Champions at King & Queen of the Ring and multiple live shows. However, they have come up short every time. The rivalry will seemingly resume tonight on SmackDown with a singles pairing.

Indi Hartwell recently posted on her X account, saying that she did not know why The Storm was trying to start trouble with her. She had allegedly done nothing to the former AEW star. This tweet came as a response to the WWE X account announcing a match between Cargill and the former NXT Women’s Champion for the upcoming episode of SmackDown.

LeRae also had something to say about the match. Although the match graphic portrayed Bianca Belair in her Cargill’s corner, Hartwell was displayed on her own. Therefore, the 38-year-old said that she was about to ‘go all Chelsea Green‘ on the social media team.

The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion then whined about not being on the match graphic. She brought up how she was battling a terrible knee injury just to be in her partner’s corner. Still, the WWE social media team could not bother to put her on the graphic.

Will Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair defend their Women’s Tag Team Championships at Clash at the Castle?

Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair have competed as a team on every PLE of 2024 since WrestleMania XL. The two are likely to continue this streak at Clash at the Castle in Scotland with another defense of the Women’s Tag Team Championships.

The champions were defending their titles on the latest episode of Raw against Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. Right as they were about to go for the win, the match was interrupted by The Unholy Union, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. The match ended in a disqualification, and the four women proceeded to beat down the champions.

WWE likes to populate the match cards of foreign PLEs with their hometown heroes. Piper Niven and Drew McIntyre are already set to have world championship matches on the show. This segment on Raw was likely an indicator that the two women would join their Scottish brethren in challenging for gold at the upcoming premium live event.
