Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae are the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions; Twitter reacts

The WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships were on the line in the main event of the latest episode of NXT. Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae managed to defeat Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon in a Street Fight to be crowned as the new Champions.

The match was brutal and all the four women gave everything they had for the titles. The members of The Way managed to emerge victorious and earned their first NXT Tag Team titles.

Moon and Blackheart put their bodies on the line and performed numerous risky moves to try to retain their titles. Despite the result not being in her favor, Blackheart was undoubtedly the standout performer of the night.

Putting LeRae through the table, crashing Hartwell over the announcer’s desk – Blackheart did it all. But none of it was enough to retain their titles. She finally was sent face first into the steel chair, and LeRae pinned her for the win.

This victory is very special for the new Champions. These are the first titles ever on WWE for both the wrestlers. In fact, LeRae has been on the brand for 4 years, yet this is her first Championship. As soon as they won the titles, congratulatory tweets started pouring in for the first-time Champions.
