India at Tokyo Olympics: Schedule of Day 9, PV Sindhu plays SF clash, Amit Panghal begins his campaign

The Indian contingent had a good couple of days where one more medal was assured as pugilist Lovlina Borgohain reached her respective semi-final match at Tokyo 2020. Meanwhile, several other athletes also advanced an inch closer towards bringing back glory to their nation. 

Coming to all the action lined up on July 31, a decent number of events are lined up for team India across eight sports. Equestrian Fouaad Mirza will kick start the proceedings with the third session of dressage.

Coming to some of the crucial matches for tomorrow, PV Sindhu plays her semi-final clash while Pooja Rani locks horns with Chinese boxer Li Qian in the quarter-final bout. Ace Indian boxer Amit Panghal will also kickstart his Tokyo 2020 journey with the round of 16 match.
