India Tour of Australia : “Nothing beats a good conversation about cricket” – Ravi Shastri shares pictures as Team India “gets back to business”

Ravi Shastri in conversation with Shubman Gill

Team India kicked off their training Down Under as they gear up to take on Australia in an all format tour. The tour will see the stalwarts play three ODIs and as many T20Is before donning the all whites for four Test matches. The tour kicks off from November 27 with the ODI series.
Indian head coach Ravi Shastri took to Twitter to share pictures from the team’s training session. Shastri was seen in conversation with young batsman Shubman Gill who is coming off a fine Indian Premier League season. The 21-year-old was Kolkata Knight Rider‘s highest run-getter, scoring 440 runs from 14 games, at a strike rate of 117.96 as he notched three half-centuries.
Great to get back to business

Shastri went on to share a few more photos from the session. He was seen having one on one interactions with Hardik Pandya, Shikhar Dhawan and Shardul Thakur. Reports suggest that the 58-year-old is planning to have such interactions with every member of the squad in the build up to the ODI series. Shastri plans to individually explain their role to them.
All eyes are on Team India who will look to repeat the heroics of their previous visit to Australia. During the 2018-19 series, India recorded their first Test series win on Australian soil. And the Virat Kohli-led side would be looking to retain the Border Gavaskar Trophy this time around.
India will play their first ODI against Australia on November 27. The first T20I takes place on December 4, and the four-match Test series begins on December 17.
