India’s injury issues amid the ongoing Test series against Australia have been never-ending and growing day-by-day. After Ravindra Jadeja and Hanuma Vihari were ruled out of the fourth Test yesterday, reports emerged today that Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out as well and that Mayank Agarwal was doubtful to take part.

India already have a plethora of players missing who didn’t travel to Australia because of prior injury issues or got injured during the tour. Now, with a major chunk of the squad getting ruled out as well, India’s situation is such that they only just about have players available to name a playing XI. In this situation, former Indian opener Virender Sehwag has come up with a hilarious tweet.

‘Itne sab players injured hain’ – Sehwag makes offer

Virender Sehwag took to Twitter today to share a picture of some players who were unavailable for the fourth Test and captioned it saying, “Itne sab players injured hain , 11 na ho rahe hon toh Australia jaane ko taiyaar hoon, quarantine dekh lenge.” and tagged the official handle of the BCCI.

The tweet translates as “There are so many injuries. If Team India does not have 11 fit players, I’m ready to fly to Australia. I’ll take care of quarantine procedures.” The tweet has since then gone viral with fans replying with their own hilarious comments such as this fan who posted a picture of Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman and captioned it saying, “ai veeru, ruk jaa.. hum bhi jaa rahe tere saath. (sic)” translating to “Wait! We are coming with you.”

The fourth Test between India and Australia is scheduled to be held in Brisbane from the 15th of January.
