The ageless bowling beauty, James Anderson again marked his presence on the pitch during the first session of the fifth day. He rattled three Indian wickets- Shubman Gill, Ajinkya Rahane, and Rishabh Pant.
Anderson came as the rescue bowler for England when India looked promising with young Shubman Gill on the pitch.
Anderson scalping Gill’s wicket
Gill, who was score a half-century looked in fine touch even on the deteriorating fifth-day-pitch.
The good length ball by Anderson pitched around off-stump and tweaked back in. Gill who tried to play it with a foot forward was late in closing the bat-pad gap. The ball went-passed and uprooted the off wicket.
