While the UFC 311 PPV event is ongoing, the promotion initially hinted at potential updates regarding fights involving Alex Pereira and Justin Gaethje. However, when the news broke during the live broadcast, it captured the widespread attention of many viewers.
Alex ‘Poatan’ Pereira is currently the UFC light heavyweight champion and is enjoying a surge in popularity. Similarly, Justin Gaethje, a former BMF champion, has always been a fan favorite due to his incredible performances in the UFC. Both Ankalaev and Pereira have been engaged in a back-and-forth exchange. The Dagestani fighter, in particular, has consistently dismissed Poatan as the champion of their division. Gaethje, on the other hand, always seeks out violent matchups. Most recently, Hooker is coming off a win against Mateusz Gamrot.
