IPL 2020: After beating RCB, Delhi Capitals squad enjoys a day off with a team outing in Dubai

Delhi Capitals camp is looking all relaxed after comfortably sitting at the 2nd position in the points table. They took a day off to enjoy in Dubai.

The head coach Ricky Ponting followed by assistant coach Mohammad Kaif and bowling coach Ryan Harris is managing the team very well. Delhi Capitals is looking in a very good momentum and the way they defeated top sides like CSK, KKR and RCB in their league encounter will boost their confidence very high.

After beating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 59 runs at the Dubai International Stadium on Monday, players and support staff members of the Delhi Capitals team enjoyed their day off with a team outing here in Dubai on Tuesday, while adhering to all BCCI and UAE Government protocols.

The short outing saw everyone come together for some team-bonding activities and enjoy some time at a private beach at the Atlantis Palm in Dubai while ensuring the bio-secure bubble was maintained at all times.

Having this kind of short break will keep the players in a good frame of mind and will also allow everyone to gell with each other.

Amit Mishra out of IPL 2020

Meanwhile, Delhi Champion bowler and leg spinner Amit Mishra is out of IPL 2020 due to a finger injury that he sustained while taking the catch off Nitish Rana against KKR at Sharjah.

DC hasn’t announced any replacement for Mishra so far but the Capitals are sure to miss his valuable services going into the matter halve of the tournament.

Delhi Capitals now sit firmly on the top of the table with 4 wins out of 5 matches they played. Their next match is against Rajasthan Royals on October 9.
