Rajasthan Royals (RR) star opening batsman Jos Buttler has reckoned that England and RR fellow teammate Ben Stokes is the most talented player he has played with. He referred Stokes as ‘superhuman‘ who gives his 100 per cent to the team.

Stokes missed a few matches of the Royals in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). But now Royals team management has decided to test the England all-rounder to open the batting in this season. He is one of the crucial players for the side along with skipper Steve Smith and wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler.

Stokes has played two matches of IPL 2020 so far. He scored 5 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad but did good comeback against Delhi Capitals. He scored 41 runs off 35 balls with 4 boundaries. Delhi defeated Royals as they were restricted to 148 for 8.

Probably say, Ben Stokes… He has been a superhuman for us in English cricket. He tends to do some freaky stuff on the cricket field, he’s pretty talented,” said Jos Buttler in YouTube show called Royals Rapid Fire.

Steven Smith-led side is placed on the seventh position of the IPL 2020 points table. They have won 3 games and lost 5 with 6 points.

The last few games haven’t gone down too well for us but still in the early part of the competition and it’s such a long competition the IPL that you’re going to win some and you’re going to lose some games,” RR skipper said.

It’s all about peaking at the right time and we’ve got the confidence from the first two games of scoring big first innings runs and also in the second game where we chased down a big total. So, I’m sure everyone will take confidence from that and hopefully, we can turn it around in the coming matches,” Stokes said.
