IPL 2020: Netizens react after Virat Kohli fails yet again in a knockout game
Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli failed to put on a big total on the board, despite opening the innings for his side. Leaving his usual batting position of number three, Kohli came out to bat with Devdutt Padikkal.
The 32-year old got out after scoring just six runs off seven deliveries. SRH bowling all-rounder Jason Holder claimed Kohli’s wicket on an average delivery. The RCB skipper edged a short ball from Holder that was going down the leg side. Moreover, he went back to the pavilion with just seven runs on the board.
In the end, Royal Challengers Bangalore could only post 131/7 with the help of a fighting half-century from AB de Villiers. In response, SRH batsmen Kane Williamson (50) and Jason Holder (24) stayed at the crease till the end to clinch a nail-biting victory for their side.
