The most awaited cricketing league would return on the 19th of September in the Arab nation, UAE. Reports state that The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has awarded the title sponsorship rights for IPL 2020 to the fantasy cricket league platform Dream11.

Dream 11 outcasted Tata Sons, however, it is not clear that Dream11 will still stay as an associate partner for the league or will BCCI will now look for someone else to fill the empty slot.

Several IPL franchises have also started off with their training camps in different cities and would be looking to reach the United Arab Emirates soon in these tough times. Apart from the above 2 bidding competitors, there were bidding involvements from Bjyu’s and Unacademy for ₹171 Cr for the former and ₹201 Cr with the latter respectively.

However, this amount is still nearly half of what BCCI received from last year’s title sponsors Vivo(440 Crore).
